Save the Hen is a group of passionate Little Red Hen regulars and neighbors who simply don’t want to see this irreplaceable place close its doors. What started as a handful of concerned dancers and musicians has grown into an overwhelming wave of support from the entire community, proof of just how much The Little Red Hen means to so many.

Our mission is to raise awareness across Seattle and afar to ensure The Little Red Hen stays open past July 31. The Little Red Hen is more than just a country bar, it’s Seattle’s only country bar – a living piece of our city’s history where people from all walks of life come together. It’s home to line dancers, bluegrass jammers, karaoke-ers, two-steppers, musicians, and anyone who wants to experience the unique magic this place has to offer.

Through sharing stories and shining a light on what makes The Little Red Hen so special, we hope to rally the support needed to protect this beloved institution. If these doors close, we lose far more than a bar, we lose a vital gathering place, a cultural landmark, and a community that welcomes everyone.
